Summer Outing July 2010

On 22nd. July 36 members and helpers set off for our annual Summer lunch in a cloud burst! After the weeks of constant sunshine we felt unlucky but very soon the sun came out and our driver took us on a scenic ride through the country villages. With perfect timing we arrived at The Black Rabbit at Arundel at 12 noon.

The staff made us very welcome and everyone enjoyed their pre-lunch drink (on theClub) and an excellent meal whatever their choice. Coffee and tea were complementary which was much appreciated.

The venue proved very popular as it is situated on the banks of the Arun and prettily bedecked with flowering baskets All very inviting!
